A two night, three-day package, mid week or weekend, that will delight your senses. 2009 Season of New York City Ballet will feature 20 stunning ballets, including three performances of full-length story ballet Coppelia, a work partially commissioned by SPAC that had its world premiere on SPAC's stage in 1974. Other highlights include George Balanchine's Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, the centerpiece of the July 11 Ballet Gala, and the one-act Swan Lake. The season will also feature the Saratoga premieres of new works by Benjamin Millepied and Melissa Barak. New York City Ballet Master in Chief Peter Martins' 1994 work Papillons will also have its first ever performance at SPAC.

The Philadelphia Orchestra Season opens on August 5 with a first-ever appearance at SPAC by actor ALEC BALDWIN who will narrate Aaron Copland's Lincoln Portrait. The 1942 work, written by Copland as part of the World War II patriotic war effort, is narrated with the reading of excerpts of Abraham Lincoln's great documents, including the Gettysburg Address.
World Renowned Soloists
An exceptional lineup of classical soloists is scheduled to perform during the season including renowned cellist YO-YO MA, virtuoso violinist JOSHUA BELL, world-acclaimed pianist JEAN-YVES THIBAUDET, legendary pianist EMANUEAL AX, superstar pianist ANDRE WATTS, Russian-born pianist YEFIM BRONFMAN, and more!
